The Wizards Play Network would like to send you to Pro Tour Puerto Rico! Just bring your best Standard deck to HobbyTown USA South Pointe on May 1st, 2010 and win. That's all there is to it. No you don't earn a Pro Tour invitation but you do earn an invitation to play in a tournament exclusive to WPN winners on Sunday at Pro Tour San Juan in Puerto Rico.

The WPN Championship–San Juan Qualifier Tournaments are a series of qualifiers run throughout North and Latin America. The winner at each qualifier earns an invitation to the WPN Championship–San Juan tournament, to be held at the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour San Juan 2010 event in San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 30, 2010. (Note: the winner of each qualifier does not receive airfare to attend Pro Tour San Juan or an invitation to play in the Pro Tour).

The winner of the WPN Championship–San Juan will receive round-trip airfare and 4 nights hotel accommodation to attend the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour–Amsterdam 2010 event on September 3-5, 2010; subject to the official rules.

Deck lists are required
Tournaments with less than 8 players will be cancelled
Note: This is a premier Magic tournament. Organizers and judges of the WPN Championship–San Juan Qualifier Tournaments are not permitted to play in the qualifiers.

Tournament Length

Swiss rounds - 50 minutes per round

Number of Swiss rounds based on attendance according to the following chart:

Advancement

All players may participate in all Swiss rounds.
The top 8 players after the final Swiss round will advance to the top 8 single-elimination finals.

Top 8

Top 8 matches will be best 2 of 3
Top 8 matches will have no time limit.
Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds will still be used to determine final order in the standings.

Prizes

The winner will win an invitation to the WPN Championship–San Juan tournament held at Pro Tour–San Juan 2010 on Sunday, May 30, 2010, which is subject to the Official Rules
