Well it looks like we have overestimated some teams and under estimated others. We started the season 4-5. We can only hope to get better.
Washington is in first in their division. Looks like Kevin is trying to bring back the glory years of George Allen with his ‘70s bar. Kevin you better frame this issue as it most likely won’t happen again.
Scores From Week One
Detroit over Cincinnati 31-17 – Bengal middle linebacker could not cover the receivers that came into his zone.
Washington over Miami 27-24 – Miami jumped to a big lead thanks to RG3 and then went to sleep. Washington wins.
New England over Green Bay 23-17 – Close game to the end.
Seattle over New Orleans 44-17 - Did not see this score coming. Helped by several Saints TOs.
Kansas City over Carolina 23-20 – Typical slugfest of a game between these two.
Pittsburgh over Denver 31-28 - Dale went for the win and failed on a long pass that was caught 2 yards short of the EZ.
St. Louis over Dallas 48-10 – BIG upset. Looney did not see this one coming. Underestimated the Rams defense.
San Diego over Minnesota 49-21 – Rematch of last season’s Super Bowl – same outcome.
Indianapolis over Arizona 42-38 – Came for a football game and a basketball game broke out.
Philadelphia over San Fran 23-16 – Turnovers hurt the 49ers - especially at their own 3 yardline.
Week Two Predictions
Detroit vs Kansas City – Two teams with different styles face off – one run oriented and the other pass. Take the Lions 28-24.
Philly vs Arizona – Does the Barlow curse follow Gary to Philly? This game will be an indicator. Philly 24-21.
Miami vs Dallas – It is the hope of the fans that their respective team was not ready for the season start. Take Dallas 35-31.
New England vs San Diego – Two teams that the coaches complain are worse than last year – yeah right. Chargers 35-31.
Seattle vs Denver – Broncos offense vs Seahawks defense. I am taking Seattle in a close one 45-42.
Carolina vs Green Bay – Both teams have issues with QBs. Expect a low scoring game. Packers 24-21
Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati – Witt has a new team but seems to have issue coaching guys in stripes. Steelers 35-14.
St. Louis vs San Fran – Can Will duplicate the magic of week 1? Can Byron beat someone he is supposed to? 49ers close 27-24.
Minnesota vs Washington – Two old rivals face off. Expect ground and pound. Minnesota 38-21.
Indianapolis vs New Orleans – BASKETBALL ALERT!!! This could get high scoring. Take New Orleans 56-49.
