Week One Predictions
Detroit vs Cincinnati. This game features two old workmates that each have changed to new teams this season. Expect drinks to be flowing – especially for Witt as he might need it. The Detroit defense will play a big part in the game in making many stops against an average Bengal offense. The one dimensional Lions attack will be enough to grab a 35-21 win.
Miami vs Washington. The start of the season – a long season for Kevin. Miami should find enough offense to give the Redskins fits. Take Miami 24-10.
Philadelphia vs San Fran. An old rivalry game. Gary has MANY scores to settle with Byron. On the other hand Byron is hoping that this game will be the start of a new season this year. The 49ers are the better team but will have to wait and see if they will perform up to expectations. Take Philadelphia 34-27 over San Fran.
New England vs Green Bay. Forrest will need to get some luck to beat Green Bay and their potent offense. Take Amber’s Packers 31-28.
New Orleans vs Seattle. Jeff is starting his run for the playoffs. The Seahawks defense should prove some problems for Jeff – but just a speed bump in the end. Seattle wins 49-21.
Carolina vs Kansas City. DJ’s Panthers will be trying to stop the bludgeoning attack of the Chiefs. Rich will be trying to ball control the game. Take Kansas City 24-17.
Pittsburgh vs Denver. Two old rivals face off. This time Dale has the upper hand this time. The Steelers will try everything at hand to slow down the Bronco offense – with no success. Denver 35-21.
St. Louis vs Dallas. Scoring Alert. These teams will be putting up huge numbers as neither team’s defenses can stop the other. Take Dallas to win 42-31.
Minnesota vs San Diego. The rematch of last year’s Super Bowl. Both teams are not what they were last year and thus needing every game they can get. I still believe that Thom has Greg’s number, like he has most people. San Diego wins 27-21.
Indianapolis vs Arizona. Bombs Away. Hail Alert is posted for this game. There will be so many balls in the air that the officials will have to stop to make sure that only one is in play at a time. Run? What run? The running backs in this game will get plenty of rest as the quarterbacks will rule to game. Arizona wins 49-45.
